The resort is hidden under a tall stand of some of the remaining lowland rainforest on the Queensland tropical coast. The rainforest canopy remains undisturbed at Crocodylus. The comfortable safari style hut are built up off the ground and spaced out amongst the dense tropical rainforest. From the comfort of your hut you can feel part of the rainforest, listening to and watching the wildlife of the forest.
Additional activities available from Crocodylus include a half day paddle trek with snorkelling and tropical breakfast, exclusive overnight sea kayaking/camping tours to Snapper Island National Park, guided Night Walks, Morning and Afternoon walks, Great Barrier Reef tours, Crocodile cruises, exotic fruit tasting, Jungle Surfing and Horse Riding.
All offer a different means of discovering and enjoying the rainforest, tropical coast and coral reefs. These activities are all run by local owner/operators ensuring quality and a personal touch.
Being in an isolated area Crocodylus generates its own electricity and provides guests with facilities for longer stays:- a coin operated laundry, a well equipped self catering kitchen, a coin pay telephone and a small general store.
