Two pole framed high set timber cottages, on the edge of World Heritage Rainforest, set in a permaculture orchard of rare tropical fruit, one kilometre from the beach, at Cape Tribulation. Both cottages are located well away from the house and each other so guests have total privacy. Breakfast is based around farm produce. The property runs on solar power – we can provide fans but not air conditioning. The cottages are adjacent to the creek, built to enable cooling breezes from the forest, so you do not need air conditioning. We offer a personalized experience, as hosts who know the area and lived here for 18 years. There is a lot to see and do, and a great place to unwind and just relax.
